Rebecca Simpson Heimlich

Rebecca Simpson Heimlich brings more than 25 years of diverse litigation and advocacy experience to the Finney Law Firm. Rebecca’s focus areas include litigation and labor and employment matters as well as government and public affairs, including: lobbying and advocacy at the state and local level; licensing, zoning, land use and other administrative hearings; commercial litigation; employment litigation; and litigating elections, constitutional, and other claims against government actors who exceed their authority or act unethically.

Rebecca began her career at Taft, Stettinius, and Hollister and continued it at Squire, Sanders, Dempsey, and her practice areas included general litigation, labor and employment, real estate and tax law. And, Rebecca served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Clermont County.

Her varied career also includes over 10 years of advocacy work for various interests including the oil and natural gas industry and other commercial interests, as well as advocacy on behalf of Ohio and U.S. taxpayers. Rebecca has extensive experience in government and public affairs and in campaign management at the state and local level across the Midwest.

With her diverse background, Rebecca is uniquely positioned to assist our clients in the courtroom and before state and local government entities.
